This morning, Kevin Lee weighed in at 157 pounds with three minutes to spare in the two-hour window and therefore missed weight for the lightweight bout at UFC Atlantic City.
The fight with Edson Barboza will still go ahead at catchweight. Lee will have to sacrifice 20% of his fight purse.
Since this morning’s weigh-ins, Lee has taken to social media to apologise for his failure to hit the mark.

Meanwhile, the 23-year-old Aspen Ladd missed weight by 1.8 pounds for her women’s bantamweight bougt with Leslie Smith. According to sources, the fight is up in the air as apparently, Smith turned down taking 20% of Aspen’s fight purse.
Whilst the fight between Smith and Ladd may still go ahead, a preliminary bout between Magomed Bibulatov and Ulka Sasaki has been scrapped due to Sasaki sustaining a back injury.
